Verification of the hard copy of an officially signed document
Persons receiving a hard copy of an officially signed document have the following possibilities to verify its authenticity:
Transmission of the ToDo document by post or delivery by hand at the point of entry of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management.
Delivery of the scanned-in ToDo document by email to the mail address of the official-in-charge indicated in the letterhead.
The official-in-charge checks whether the document delivered is the ToDo document indicated and, if so, answers the inquiry in writing using the phrase: "The document you submitted originates from the authority indicated and has not been altered in substance".
If the result of the verification happens to be negative, the following response is to be used: “The authority indicated has not been able to verify the document you submitted."
